24-hour Global Digital Marathon for Sustainability

The 24-hour Global Digital Marathon for Sustainability, organized by the Future Food Institute and FAO elearning Academy, on 22 April 2021, to celebrate the 51th anniversary of the United Nations Earth Day.

This global event brings together bright minds and best practices on sustainable food systems for regenerating the Planet.
This relay of positivity and goodness, like an ideal Olympic torch, travels from East to West, passing from indigenous people, that reflect the identity of entire territories, to entrepreneurs, startups, scientists, journalists, young leaders, policy makers, farmers.

The torch passes from Australia, South Korea, Indonesia, India, China, Japan, Singapore, Russia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Turkey, Vatican, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom, South Africa, Tunisia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Congo, United States of America, Mexico, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica and Argentina.

Sweeping across the world from East to West, the FFI / FAO elearning Academy 24h Global Marathon is the largest worldwide event on the regenerative power of food systems, ever broadcasted.
