We are pleased to announce the opening of the call for nominations for the International Innovation Award for Sustainable Food and Agriculture.  FAO and the Swiss government are calling on individuals, private companies or institutions to submit their applications until 28 February 2019, for one of the following categories:
Digitization and Innovation Award for Sustainable Food Systems (USD 40,000). 
- Refers to innovations that affect more than one level of the supply chain and strengthen the link between farmers and consumers.
Award for innovations that empower young people in agriculture and food systems (USD 20,000). 
- Refers to innovations that empower young people under 35 years of age in agriculture and food systems.
